vBulletin integration

How do I get PhotoPost to work with my vBulletin forum? I want a strip of random images at the top of my main forum page and be able to link directly from the forum to the galleries. Can't figure it out and I know I have seen it done on many sites.

integration

I'm using Vb 4. That added a gallery tab, but still no strip of images on the forum home page.

If you have vb4 and have images there should be a block shown provided you have permissions set correctly

Reeftalk Forums

You can clearly see what it adds here in my example

permissions

Then obviously I don't have permissions set correctly... is there any documentation as to how they should be set to get it to work.

You really need to post in that mod thread because that is not part of our program for support so normal support channels do not work for hacks.

I looked at your site two things.

1. Make sure you have a trailing slash on the data url under admin edit integration settings

2. You see no images because your on the wrong page. Remember you have vba cmps installed so your hacking your vb to display that not your forum when you click forum. Your vb forum remember in vb4 is the script name forum.php try placing that in your browser your forum page views just like mine.

integration

Thanks,

All I see is a link to the images, no thumbnails. I thought I had everything set to show the images. Am I missing something? Also, can this be done on the VBadvanced page. I used to be a member of a forum that did. If it cannot, then I want to dump that page and start customizing the forum page.

I cant speak on vbadvanced I dont use that product at all. You would have to create some mod to do that in vb advanced

The reason you dont see thumbnails is as I have stated in your photopost admin under edit integration the data url you must add a trailing slash like so

http://yoursite.com/photopost/data/
