Image resize is not working?

Hey there, right now I have me photopost set up like this,

Max allowable image width in pixels: 2400
Max allowable image height in pixels: 2400

If photo upload width or height exceeds maximums, resize upload down to max dimensions? YES

But when someone uploads a picture larger than 2400x2400 the picture wont upload? Any ideas how to fix this?

This may have nothing to do with pixels but filesize. If the actual file is over your php max uploadable filesize your server will drop the image so there is nothing for the application to process.

So it would it be a good idea to delete the file size?

That stuff is all dimension thresholds not filesizes.

What I am saying is if your trying to say you upload a photo thats 3 mb in size and your server's PHP max a max upload size of 2mb your file will be dropped by your server even before it reaches the gallery to be processed hense the file is gone if there is nothing to process as in the script goes on

If you get a white screen that is indicitive of another issue.

I really need to know what the exact error is. The picture wont upload is not real descriptive.

There is no error, just the member goes to upload a picture and it doesnt work! I am assuming it is a larger pixel size than whats there cause below that it say it will resize the image if larger than the setting. Its not resizing a image, its just dropping it!

If your saying the customer is trying to upload a 3mb file to your server and your server only allows a 2mb upload that would never work

I still am not getting a clear indication of what you mean it doesnt work. You need to get them to tell you the exact issue.

LOL, sorry chuck, I am trying

This option in "Upload Photo Options"

If photo upload width or height exceeds maximums, resize upload down to max dimensions?: this is set to yes but its not working

Is it because of this setting? Maximum multimedia upload size in Kb

Well the problem here is I need a clear definitive answer on what the error is. You cant really say IT DOESNT WORK. You need to tell me HOW it doesnt work.

As stated if you try uploading an image and it throws you back to the users gallery or index of the site that is probally because the file your trying to upload is over the php maximum filesize allowed. This is not something you can change without altering the servers php setup. That setting is in PHP directly not our application. See your file is dropped by the server so there is nothing for our program to process. Make sense?

If you get a blank white page thats another error

I just need to know what you mean by it doesnt work so I can offer a resolution.
