Norma where are you talking?

Yes you can go to admin edit styelsheets select your stylesheet your using and edit the css properties to add a background image but where your talking depends on what class you edit.

ok...lets see if I can explain.

I have chosen the "Original" Style Sheet

where would I go to add an html image link for a background that matches my website?

I would want it to replace the white background in the chosen "Original" style sheet.

I also am curious as to why when I go in find a color I want by using the hex color chart provided, I than copy & paste it into an area I would like to change the color and click on save it does not accept the new color change?

It shows that it has accepted the replaced changes but does not show in my user index that I have made the changes.

Sorry I an struggling a bit since I was hoping the soft ware was going to have a more user friendly wysiwig ... I am html & ccs challenged and am trying to do my best.

Appreciate ur help Chuck !

well you mean default stylesheet

You go to admin edit stylesheet and select the default stylesheet

You will see the css classes find body and replace it with say this where noted but make sure to place the proper full url to the image you want

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
replace with say this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

in the edit layout section i have chosen the "Original" theme for my gallery.

so does this mean that in order to make any changes to it I must than chose in the edit style section the "Original" style sheet ?

or will my changes always be in the default style sheet.

I am frustrated because I have made changes in both the "Original" & "Default" style sheet and nothing happens !!!!! gggrrr

I have tried adding adding the url to my image in the body section of both as you mentioned above and nothing happens....why ?

There is no original stylesheet included in our product it is called default.css

If you edit the proper stylesheet and do as I stated above you should load a background image

I looked at your site because I have those details and you simply edited the css incorrectly that was your issue

here is an image of the "Original" option I choose..it is an option and the reason I choose it is because it would be easier to edit. it allready has a a white background
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
but that is ok I have switched everything over to the default in the theme section as well as in the editable style sheet. So now my background looks lovely. But my next issue when working in the default.ccs is that it has black/dark tables and I dont know how to change it to white.
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
can you please point me in the right direction to make these white and I promise to not to bother you for a while

tddetails and tdbackground I would think as well as most others but our default should be white.
