chuck can you post what you had done to his pp-inc.php file? I'm seeing the same thing he is, two meta descriptions, two titles --one from photopost one from vb. currently vb is being pulled by google, and it's less effective so I'm hoping whatever you did for Jesh will fix mine as well

I noticed it was a bit older, but it's exactly what I'm seeing.
I have 7.03. I don't see 7.1 available for download?

I'm definitely on 7.03, but still getting both headers. I switched between default vb templates, and swapped out some photopost files that were originals and i didn't see a difference.
I get the photopost title way up in the header, and google takes it before anything else, so thats fine--but the vb title is still in there as well.
The meta description for both is also in there, and the photopost one is below the vb one, so bots are indexing the first.

Try redownloading the code and uploading pp-inc.php
I beleive the lines your missing are these and are clearly in the source code Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

chuck what line is that around, or what does it follow--I have some similar stuff, but I do seem to be missing the exact lines you posted. I'll try to reference an original 7.03 file, that I'm about to download fresh.

AHA! progress. So I added the two lines, swapped out the original pp-inc as well, and I'm getting a meta description of sorts (changed) but not complete:
<meta name="description" content=", Site Description here... blah blah blah blah blah." />
It would appear that the pp meta description isnt being inserted where that first comma appears?
keywords is now working though.
<meta name="keywords" content="THIS TITLE, my keywords,keywords,keyword...

I'm using PP 6.23 with vB3 integration. Is it possible to specify a custom meta description tag for PhotoPost while leaving my vB meta description as-is?

I beleive with the newer photopost 7 series I know we alter the vb meta description to add any pertinent meta tags whether it be category names photos titles or the index meta keys.

Unfortunately, I'm still running the 6 series. No way to make this happen?

I'm running 7.1 now, and I'd like to make the following changes. I see the $titlereplace variable in pp-inc.php, but I don't know how to set up the "if" statement. Can you point me in the right direction? - Home Page - use vB4 title, description, and keywords only
- Sub Pages - use PP title, description, and keywords in front of vB4 title, description, and keywords

The way it works when integrated with vbulletin is any description or keywords where we code things are added to any meta tags
You can discuss code mods outside the product support forums as here we support things how they are written by us.
