What happens when I purge the member gallery category?

Here is my predicament. I use categories to upload all my photos. I accidentally uploaded a batch to the member gallery since its always the default option. What can I do? I didn't see a way to batch move the photos but I did see that I could purge the member gallery category. My question is will this remove all the photos in all the other categories as well (basically my entire db) or just photos that were not assigned a category on upload?


If I may add a comment, I wish the member category didn't exist because honestly I've been fighting it since I first started using Photopost. Its annoying and redundant and always ends up messing with my plans. If decide I want to use categories to upload all photos, the member gallery should never be in play. Viewing photos my member is always be a good tool but I'm sure this could be done without the confusion of a member gallery category that people can upload to by accident all the time as I just did.

sure you can in admin bulk move you can move photos to another category or under approve photos select different cats
