upload time

Is there anyway of changing the time that photopost uses (ie when it displays the upload time) it seems to be a few hours out of synch with the correct time (gmt ) in my case. i couldnt find a setting to adjustt his.
I have a contest ending at a specific time this weekend so need an accurate upload time if possible

thanks

In admin global options set your GMT offset and you should be fine if your integrating with vbulletin or invisionboard.

thanks Chuck - I dont know how I didnt see it first time!I got confused as mt vbulletin shows gmt but my server is in the US which I think photopost pulls from that ratyher than vb i presume?

Can I ask is there a way to stop photos uploaded into albums being automatically duplicated into the members gallery? As Im assuming this is creating 2 copies of the same photo so increasing the disk space used?

photopost like most any application uses server time. vbulletin and invisionboard use GMT exclusively and write every time backwards to gmt from there. Thats why we have that setting

Photos are not duplicated in any manner. The photo is only located in your album. If you dont want the members gallery to show all a members photos then you need to set the option for that in showgallery options to no in admin.

thanks chuck,
are they duplicated if when uploading you choose to put them in more than one category? as it seems to add to the photo count an extra one?

Not a problem the add to extra cats just makes extra photo entries in other cats but uses the one stored physical photo thats why we have the storeid and storecat variables in the photos table.
