Quick question

ok I know im missing a trick here as usual but I cant find out how to solve this.

On my gallery my thumbnails show part of the image rather than showing the full picture scaled down. SO if I have a montage of say 3 images in a vertical strip on one photo the thumbnail will show a portion of this from the centre of the strip. Id prefer the whole image just smaller.
I expect its a simple setting im missing somewhere!!

Second query is when viewing a photo it show a thumbnail strip above featuring other photos from that category - is there any way to put a small space between these thumbnails? I find it a little distracting that the edges are joined!!

to add to that question when photos are uploaded they automatically copy into members galleries - does this mean the photo is duplicayed on the database or is it the same photo just with 2 links?

if your thumbnails are center crops are you using the uniform thumbnail feature under admin upload options if so turn this off

I would have to see your site but maybe placing a break tag in the proper filmstrip template may help like so

thjanks chuck - I turned off the uniform thumbnails and rebuilt them in the scan database but they still appear the same or will it only change on new uploads?
where do i find the filmstrip template?

Your thumbs look fine to me

the filmstrip template is under admin edit templates
