SEO problem: Pictures are not indexed by Google

Is your site being indexed?

google images is different from google search.

The discussion here years ago is because using image protect to protect your images from being seen outside your website like discussed here will result in google images from seeing them.

I beleive google needs a full straight url to an image to google it in google images. I am not sure of there policies though.

Google images if I am right will not index an image that is a script link so using the watermark script guarantees nothing is indexed correct which is what this discussion is about.

we're indexed with Google. I get notices a few times a week with the Google search notification I setup when it finds our website being mentioned.

We currently don't have the watermark script setup on our site.
What scares me, if those running photopost sites won't have their images searchable on Google, that could mean many other photo sites could block Google Image Search and many of us won't even be able to find where our images were stolen

SEO has to do with indexing your sites pages. Like I said I have no idea how google images works thats a different service.
