upload problem

Hey folks,
wonder if someone could help me out - looked around but cant find an answer!

I tried earlier to upload via the bulk upload option in photopost (moving images into the directory needed.
it processed so many then I got the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11832 bytes) in /home/eldintux/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 116

NOw I figured it was a memory upload limit issue. I have since tried to manually upload the images one at a time from my computer but I get the same error.
According to the statistics I have around 600 photois uploaded but they arent showing anywhere except in ftp.
Anyone know what this error relates too? Will i have to manually delete all these photos from via ftp?
I have quite a lot I need to transfer , im prepared to do them individually but as this isnt letting me do that even im a bit stuck!!

I created a new account and uploaded a single file fine - Im presuming its thinking that my main user has gone over its limits but im not sure how to reset his limits - i have updated options via scan database but the stats are still the same
