Internal Server Error?

I haven't deleted any files or updated any lately but today I am getting a lot of errors. When members try to upload photos they get this error "Error creating thumbnail! Error code: -1"

Also when i try to get to admin I am getting this error:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@.....com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.14 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at (my url) Port 80

What can I do to fix these errors? Please help

You can email a site url admin login to us if you want me to take a peek but my suggestion is this

1. make sure permissions on your data and uploads directories are 777 permissions at every level beneath those directories

2. make sure your server paths are correct in global options and storage options.
