Best practice upgrade from 6.2 to 7.0.1

I'm just checking in to be sure the best way to upgrade from 6.2. to 7.0.1.

1) Backup the database
2) unzip the 7.0.1 files
3) edit the config-int.php file in the unzip directory as needed to include the new cookies variable and other vairables
4) make a copy of the current photopost directory (gallery_copy)
5) Rename the current photopost directory (gallery -> gallery_6.2)
6) Rename the copy to the current photopoost (gallery_copy -> gallery)
7) upload all files in the 7.0.1 unzip folder to gallery
9) run the upgrade.php script delete the upgrade script
10) when all is running properly, delete gallery_6.2 directory

Thanks for checking this sequence out for me. I want to get it right and be able to switch back if there are problems.

Larry

1. same as yours

2. same as yours

3. Upload everything except the 2 config files, install.php, header.htm, footer.htm and OVERWRITE the files already on your server.

4. Run upgrade.php in your browser and select the 6.2 to 7.0 upgrade

THATS IT.

Duplicate errors are not of concern Larry that means you already ran that upgrade before so many you hit your upgrade link twice

I dont know why you rolled back when you where done.
