Difference?

What is the difference between "member galleries" and "personal member index"? I used the beta importer script to import existing member vbalbums. I see them all in the personal member index (mine included) however when I visit the member galleries section, its only my album I see.

You mean personal album index.

Personal albums are just that personal albums users have created everything else is a category that means the admin created those.

Sorry, yes personal album index. I just finished installing Photopost, I had two generic categories...

Member Galleries
Individual user galleries - any photo category
· Personal Albums Index

I used the importer script, all photos were transfered to the "personal album index". Mine included. When I visit the personal album index, of course, it's an index of all the member's photos. Which is great. However, when I visit the "member galleries" it's just my albums. Now, is it correct to say, when a member logs in and visits "member galleries" he will only see his albums? Can I assume this is where a member uploads his photos for his albums and they are transfered (automatically) to the "personal albums index" automatically for all to view?

No personal albums are just that personal albums a member creates.

Nothing is going to be automatically transferred to a personal album

Members galleries is a placeholder cat where you can view all a users photos

Users can upload photos to there personal albums or categories you create that is picked when they upload.

For instance there is a setting in admin showgallery options that says members gallery shows all a users photos you mark that to yes and in members gallery your gonna see all user photos regardless of what category they are uploaded to. Otherwise it would only show photos directly uploaded to the members gallery.
