Photos no longer link to larger version

I upgraded from 6.01 to 7.01 this morning and now my medium size (400px) photos don't link to the larger (800px) photos.

It still says to click the image for the larger version -- but there doesn't appear to be a link there. Is there a setting or something that would have changed?

You need to go to Admin => Show Photo Options and set yes to the option to show large images in popup window

I have a similar question. I need to display the larger images within the photopost page, so it forces a page refresh as the previous version did, not a popup.

Is there an option or a workaround to keep the older behavior working for viewing the larger images? As you can imagine, this is a matter of generating maximum pageviews, so the old way of displaying the larger images was a key benefit of the entire photopost system.

I would certainly suggest an option to display the larger images in one of the 2 ways moving forwards so the forum operators can choose what is best for their business needs.

There is no workaround here other than to not use medium images. If you use medium images you need to use a popup. Given how SEO works you can not have multiple urls to the same image.
