| Profile page is blank
When you click on someone's name or avatar in the photo gallery and are taken to their profile page, and for example select to view Photos (or send a message, etc...). A blank page is shown.
Any ideas if we need to set something differently?

If they have not filled out anything in there profile then quite possibly it could be blank.

Chuck, as the first post stated, nothing shows up, including their photos. Member Profile - The Pixel Gallery
Every option that they have comes up as a blank page. I understand that it is not happening on your site, but that doesn't help me.

Its not suppose to thats what the links are there for. By default if you want your members to have some photopost profile info show up before clicking links you need to do two things.
1. in registration options I think you need to allow additional profile options to be filled out.
2. your users would actually have to edit there photopost profile this has never changed.

Hi Chuck,
Before we upgraded to this newest version, when a person was sent to the profile, you could at least see the photos that they have uploaded. Here is what I'm talking about here in the Photopost's gallery. Member Profile - PhotoPost Photo Gallery
Something comes up under
Statistics
Photos
etc.
Ours no longer does this, and we would like this functionality back. We don't use Photopost's registration system (never have), so we can't turn these features on.

The photopost profile has been like what your posting for quite along time. There is no backwards functionality. If you want to show basic stuff for a user like birthday homepage etc they can fill out that info by editing there profile in photopost as long as you have the option to collect additonal information under admin registration options.

I don't believe you are understanding what I am asking for. Let me make it clearer.
If you click on the DEMO>User link in the top toolbar
Then you click on any name it takes you to a profile page. For this example I'm looking at the user PIFA
Then you click on the word PHOTOS that is located on the left side bar.
It will show you the following... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
If you click on STATISTICS...
It will show you the following... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The same goes if we go to your web site, Reef Talk, which is integrated with vB 4.0.0 correct?
It is the same on your site.
I go to your gallery and click on your name "Chuck S" it takes me to your profile page and if I click on Photos, it shows me this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
If this hasn't been available for "quite along time", then the demo here at PP is seriously out of date, and you have a magical hack installed on your site OR I have set a permission incorrectly or there is something not working correctly with the integration with 4.0.1. I would hope that the demo here isn't seriously out of date, and I can't logically understand why you all would have it so, so I'm assuming it's one of the other issues, and I would love a resolution.

I do not think your understanding what I have posted. Lets take my site for example and break it down. Member Profile - ReefTalk Gallery
That is a standard photopost profile page. There is some info displaying about me because I have set in registration options which I already responded about above to collect additional info and I have filled out said info.
Lets take another user Member Profile - ReefTalk Gallery
He has not filled out any info so thats what you see in a default working photopost. My site as always is a totally unmodified site.
You need to click a link to the left to display the information that is suppose to display according to the link. Now if no link is clicked then the page that shows is what I have posted above or I can post links from this site as well they all display the same.
If your site is not working this way feel free to post a link to your site so we can see it. Otherwise if your talking about displaying the profile page differently than I have explained how it works then that falls under code modification.

I did post a link Chuck, on February 4 and in this thread. I believe I have also stated, at least 4 times, that it is not working this way on our site.

And to make this as clear as humanly possible. I don't care about birth dates or home pages. I care about the fact that nothing shows when you click on Statistics (as I have referenced) or Photos (as I have referenced).

There is no link to your site here.
I would suggest then that your not using the latest code as that sounds like a very early bug in pp 7 that we fixed.
Redownload the build upload the files and make sure to also delete your htaccess file reupload the new one and rename it to .htaccess

This user has 154 photos, but when you click on her NAME and then click PHOTOS, nothing shows up. This happens with all the people who have uploaded to our gallery.
I will re-upload, again, all the core files, even though I just did so on Feb 5 for this bug.

I went to members area and downloaded the most current version as of 10:02 PM CST.
I have reuploaded all the core files again, and the issue has not resolved. I have confirmed via the upload log that everything that was in the downloadable file has been uploaded to our server and has been set to override what was currently there. Reuploading has not resolved the issue. |

did you delete your htaccess file as I noted and uploaded a clean HTACCESS file and renamed that to .htaccess ??
I know if you do as I have instructed this issue will be fixed. The only explanation for your issue is the fact that there is an old file on your site not the updated one.

I had a similar problem where the profile was not showing (but pics, stats were showing, only the profile was not) when i had the following set to 'no' - 'Do you want to prompt for optional info during registration?' - to me that simply means 'no' i dont want the info on registration, so when a user entered info manually it should show, it didn't... once i set that option to 'yes', all profile text switched on for all users, hopefully that will help future users of this thread.

yes I beleive that was brought up in this thread to allow users to fill out basic profile info that option had to be set to yes.
Thanks.
