(): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet.

Hi, I am getting this when uploading an image to my gallery, of course the type is supported and in the list of the admin side, a png.

"(): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet."

When trying again I get a 1 image in your queue and if I select another category for the image, it uploads correctly.

I have 7.01 installed.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Peter here is what I would verify.

1. Make sure in global options and storage options in admin your server path is correctly entered. maybe its changed. You can get the correct path under phpinfo in admin.

2. Make sure via ftp that you go to your gallery directory and the data and uploads directories are 777 permissions at EVERY LEVEL.

3. Make sure safe mode is off in php.

Hi Chuck.

After giving 777 to a folder it worked, but just to have it correct.

2. all sub directories and next levels should be 777 in both data and uploads ? All without exception ?

1 and 3 are correct.

Thanks.
