| Change vB4.0 navbar link from Forum to Gallery
Hi all,
First of all, thank you for this great software. I have been using vBGallery for few years, and now (under must) upgraded it into Photopost Pro. Donät get me wrong, I actually want the benefits from Pro but anyway..
I a´have succesfully upgraded my testsite vBGallery into Photopost Pro with integraded headers from vB 4.0. Only problem is that whenever I am in my gallery, the link from vB 4.0 navbar highlights Forum as the place you are. (See imahe) I have not yet added the link to Gallery to this navbar (I use plugin VBH New Tabs from vBuöötein.org), but it still should not point it to Forum even it is using Forum templates and headers.
How can I fix it to show Gallery tab?
/Chris

Now I only need to change the text in the Gallery button to suit my language. Is it hardcoded into the xml file or is it in normal Gallery languge files?
I have not yet implemented the finnish language file into my test installation...
EDIT: DId not help when I traslated the Gallery test into finnish...

Sorry, but I just don't get this...
I mean the Navbar link on the right. The Text Gallery should be something else in finnsih. So I should make changes into some vb slugin to change this? I thought the link came after this Photopost plugin install?
I did not find text Gallery in the plugin you mentioned.

The link did not come from photopost at all
The link came from that plugin you installed. Thus you would edit the plugin and change the language of that word there. Creating a new language for your gallery would not change that word since your not in the gallery your in your forum.

so you are right. I must confess, I looked that plugin from my production site. No wonder I couldn't find it.
IS there anyway I can change the position of the link?
Thank you again, now this is fixed!

No sorry there is no way I personally know of to place links in specific spots. vb prints its stuff and then other links are placed. There are no specific template hooks to my knowledge there.

You can choose weather to place your custom links to left, right or middle of the navbar.
Maybe there is some code that might help you. vBH-Add new tabs - vBulletin.org Forum |
