Help with showing Images in Forums!

Chuck, how do i add a featured photos block in forums without the hack for VB Version 4.0

I don't want to use the pppro_plugin if possible ..

You would need to use a hack to show photos on the forum.

Is it not possible to do what was done with 3.7 or 3.8 where i just added code to a few templates and files?

well no not really because thats not how vb4 works. any variable has to be declared and defined in vb4 itself for any template.

Thats why anything to do with vbulletin has to be rewritten for vb4. Thats why you see alot of this little programs people where making money on like photoplog and vbclassifieds going under. I am sure you have seen some of those threads. vb4 is a complete rewrite template wise and how they handle things. You simply cant echo out info like you could before.

Yes Ok, i understand your point, but the reason am i asking this in the first place is that using the current hack for vb4 i am unable to have the same look that i could get just using the 3.8 way!

Like having a border on the thumbnails in the forums!!

well then you would have to compare that hack to the other hack and code it to the way you like.
