PP rss-feed and vB - special configuration?

Hello,

trying to get rss-feed for vB and pp up and running there seems to be a config problem.

Is there anything special to consider?

One user in vB is configurated with his rights for the subforum in which the feeds have to be placed and the subforum is open for postings. The test run in feed manager is full functional and shows the pp feed but it is not shown in the subforum of vB.

I have setup a forum and ran our script there as a test in the vb rss manager see no issues there.

I don't understand it and will try to set up a new subforum with its feed.

yeah depends on how you configure things in vb I would assume but our feed works per category just use the right url

When in vB I set the global feed:

http://xyz/external.php?type=RSS2

then at least the vB preview function shows me the entries out of the gallery.

When I set:

http://xyz/external.php?type=RSS2&cat=527

it with a cat name then nothing happens: neither in preview nor in the forum.

Maybe a conflict in variables who knows. Not really like our rss feed was created to be used in vbulletin. It was created for rss manager scripts and bots to grab

quite possible just not something I think the developer envisioned whe he wrote an rss script. The conflict I think would be with vb. Remember all we are is a valid RSS script. vbulletin is an rss manager so your issue is with there code.
