vb4 and 7.0 admin edit permission gone

Chuck

I have seem to have lost my admin permissions when in photopost. When I click on the photo options I cant delete or move files. Also most of the drop down box is blanked out until you mouse over it. When you mouse over edit you cannot find where you can delete a file on move it.

Any suggestions where to start?

Do you see icons or text? You can set this in showphoto options in admin. If you can get into admin you have not lost permissions.

Hey Chuck

Let me try and make it a little clearer. I get no admin permissions in the drop down box when I click on photo options next to a picture. Half the stuff doesn't even show unless you mouse over it. Please see photo attached. I also made the change in showpost.php that you recommended here and that added move and delete next to the Close Comments and Hide image that is all out of whack and doesn't work either.

If you mouse over the links are there and work I would think looks like a css issue the text is the same color as the background?

There should be no reason to edit anything if your using the latest files templates etc.

Now you can try editing the showphoto template find this line near line 30

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
replace with

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

I could only find
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I replaced that with
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
so now you can see most of the text, but the icons are hidden and other text is very hard to see when you mouse over. I have attached another pic.
Also Chuck a few days ago my admin control panel went from vb4 blue color to black with white and gray letters. Is that the new look for the admin CP in 7.0?

You sure you have downloaded the latest code and uploaded everything? My vb which is the default code is blue bars. Maybe you edited some of the default css?

No I haven't edited any code nor do I have hacks added to vB4. I downloaded 7.0 that was last updated 12.18.09 and installed with vb 4.0.0 that was released on 12.21.09

The only code editing done was what you told me to do today and from the other post on correcting the problems when you save favorites which by the way corrected my problem other than I cant download my favorites and I have that option turned on in the admin cp. I was going to get with you about that after I got this issue fixed.

Do you think something went sideways during the install of 7.0? I can reinstall again if you think this may fix the problem.

Chuck,

When I goto the members area I still see the same build date which I installed and having problems with:

PhotoPost PHP Pro v7.0
Build: 12/18/09 8:40 PM

Have you updated the code but forgot to change the build date?

I re-downloaded 7.0 again from the members area and installed with over write. Things are a little better, but not perfect. I still have white out areas for add favorite, disable email updates, close comments, hide images, make sticky [see attached]. Some of these prompts are on the same lines as others.

My admincp still has a black background with white/gray letters.

Also when I add favorites I cant find a prompt to save them.

Your admin control panel is going to have whatever photopost style you set it to so thats not a bug or issue. You can change styles in admin layout options

When you add a favorite its ajax so the link just changes to say added. when you refresh the page you will see it says remove from favorites

As far as the photo options menu this is something we are working on they once again changed the vb4 css in the final so I need to track things down a little.

Photo options menu problem

Chuck,

Christ I seldom ever go into the layout screen and honestly don't recall changing colors, but I found a color that is close to vb4 color.

Yes, the the add favorite works if you know it's actually there. What I am saying I don't see a prompt anymore so you can download your favorites to your PC. Did you remove it or is this a bug? I have the option turned on.

Glad to know you guys are aware of the drop down menu issue for photo options and are working on it.

Your not talking about photo options now. The favorites where moved into the actual search script so yes things where changed with that functionality

No sorry I do not beleive that is a feature anymore. That was a showgallery option not a specific option in regards to favorites

Hey Chuck

Thanks for all the help, I will wait for the next update release and hopefully the drop down box issue will be corrected.

Sorry, but I have a similar problem with this:

No text at the first rows (comments / report / print)

Also I cannot delete or move pictures from the Photo Options box. the Link javascript:sendInfoReq('photoadmin','1'); isn't working.

I placed the showphoto.tmpl but nothing happen.

Used with a fresh VB 4.01 (test site) and a today downloaded photopost pro.
