Users subscribed to categories..

We recently upgrades to 6.23.

It appears users are now subscribed to categories they weren't subscribed to before the upgrade and are receiving emails about uploads. Is it possible everyone is now "auto-subscribed" unless they opt out?

If so, where do I turn OFF this feature?

It appears the link in the notification email doesn't work to unsubscribe them.

Hello:

Since I don't know what you mean by "switching forums" my answer to your question is "no", we didn't switch forums.

What we did do was upgrade to a newer version of Photopost.

It appears that now anyone who uploads a photo to a category is automatically SUBSCRIBED to that category and begin receiving emails about other uploads to that category. They don't want those emails, and the LINK in the email that says "click me to unsubscribe" isn't unsubscribing them.

I want to not have members automatically subscribed to a category when they upload a photo. Where can I turn this OFF?

users are not automatically subscribed to a category ever.

You can turn off notifications. I beleive by default user notification about there own photo is entered into the database but they can answer no when uploading there photo.
