I'd like to simplify the thumbs on the front page. By default it displays the thumbs of course, along with the title, user & category. I'd like to know how to remove the title, user & categary and display it similar to how the category puzzle view looks.

A template thing?

You would have to modify the feature template accordingly to your tastes I would suppose.
