No Member Cats

I cant figure this one out .... I have a fresh install and by default I wiped out all the categories but the one called members because I could not delete it .... Now what i want is just 10 cats but every time I create this the first one I re-named still act's like a member cat ? If I upload to other cats it shows pics and not a member style cat .... I have turned all member album stuff off ,What am I missing ? Thanks to anyone who can help

The first one is always going to be a member cat its the undeletable MEMBERS GALLERY its a place holder cat 500 you cant delete it.
