No watermarking for certain user groups

I could have sworn that I used to be able to exclude certain usergroups who were paid user groups from having a watermark on their uploaded pictures. Now it appears that all pictures are watermarked or not watermarked?????

Yes watermarking per groups is possible with permanent watermarking. Under edit categories for each cat you can set permissions
