Not Urgent but looking for some help...

Our goal is to have all users submit photos and have them viewable from the start with the option to vote.

I have a lot of the site up but could use some help fine tuning it which means
1.) Having issues getting the vote link to show up and trying to get it to show up is making things worse. I realize I can not vote for my own photos but I created another ID and figured I would be able to vote and appear I can not.

2.) I renamed Members Galleries to Contest Photos and when I click on it I thought it would show all photos submitted but instead it just shows the folders of the users. Anyway to get it to show ALL submitted photos.

3.) The home page I would like all photos to be shown.

4.) Finally, not a big one but it sure would be nice if we could hide Photo Details or at least have the option to start with it collapsed and if the viewer wishes they could expand to get more details when viewing the photo.

1. Have you actually set that category in edit categories to votes not ratings under the select box that asks which?

However you can not use members galleries as a contest gallery just so you know.

2. See above.

3. Not really any way to do that.

4. You can set under edit categories what view you wish to have in showgallery whether it be gallery view which is what you are seeing or simply thumbnail or thumbnail with title or even a puzzle view.

1. & 2. Thanks for the reply... didn't know that about Members Galleries not being a contest (that was my issue).

3. bummer

4. When I am viewing the image with the thumbnails across the top I was hoping I would just see. Thumbnails across the top like it is, the image like it is and comments. (photo details either removed, collapsed or off to the left or right of the picture to utilize the landscape a bit more) I would love the users to see the rating and comments while flipping through the thumbnails.

5. For some reason the Highest Rated (sidebar) isn't showing any images. I figured it was because I was hosting a contest and not rating so I changed the gallery to rating and rated a few and still no images show up in the sidebar (whether I am logged in or not).

6. Under Layout Options I left the setting to Yes for Show recent photos in default location (bottom)? (if no, will display at top) which works for the Index page (recent photos does show at the bottom) but when I click on the album the recent photos are now at the top. Am I doing something wrong? I searched but not found what I am doing wrong.

Any ideas?

4. You can choose under showphoto options what details to show or not

5. Your photos need more than one comment to show in highest rated. It does not show images only commented on once. Thats the only thing I can think of. Also make sure your not using the cache and its only a matter of it hasnt updated.

6. No that setting is for the index. The showgallery script its always at the top.
