Server Error 404 at bulk uploads

PhotoPost is running fine with single uploads, but since some days all members receive "Error 404" with bulk uploads.

Photos resist in Queue, without description and any other text.

Haupt-Index - SAGEN.at FOTOGALERIE

PHP 5.2.8
Windows Server 2008
IIS

Meanwhile I enabled the server directory-search in upload directory, but didn't help.

I have no idea at all, help would be very fine.

No, I don't think that this is a memory-issue. Server is rather fast, running on 64bit and 8 MB Memory.

I noticed some other cause:

Bulk-Uploads seem to depend on the photo details description!

I explain here with the recent photos of the ropeway to Mine La Mejicana:

- Single-upload works with any lenght of description.
- Bulk-upload works only with description up to 570 characters including space.
- Bulk-upload with a description longer than 570 characters (in this case 1412 characters) fail and "Error 404" appears.
- In second screen of bulk-upload I can add all description without any problem.

So it seems to me, that the problem is the description?

Kindest regards

Wolfgang

8mb of memory is nothing my friend.

Maybe a restriction your server has on the amount of data that can be passed via a url?

Maybe 8 KB? No, it's 8 GB

OK, that seems plausible. Even I don't know at the moment where to search, but IIS could have such a restriction.

Thanks a lot

Well your PHP settings is what determines how much memory PHP uses. It does not matter what the server has if your php settings say it only uses 16mb for php then you could shut down php on the server processing larger files. That is why there is a ini_set suggestion to increase php memory and see if that helps.
