Another Video Upload Question

Not having luck uploading a .wmv file to my Gallery.

Admin Options:
Allow multimedia uploads?
Yes

Upload Photo Options:
Maximum multimedia upload size in Kb
260000

Acceptable multimedia file types?
.mpeg,.mpg,.avi,.asf,.wmv,.mov,.mp4

Everytime I upload the .wmv video it states your file has uploaded successfully and then shows "This category does not contain any images"

I tried using the Flash Uploader and with Flash Uploader set to No as well and the same results. I am, however, successful if I FTP the file up to /uploads/2/ and do a bulk import and that seems to get the video in the category. The video isn't embedded as it launches the external video player found on the viewer's computer.

Shouldn't you be able to upload video files using the flash uploader? It shows that .wmv file is an acceptable upload and I am able to browse to the .wmv, select it and it shows that it uploads successfully but it doesn't work.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I do beleive your still restricted to the servers PHP maximum upload settings so without altering those your limit is whatever the max uploadable filesize is in php info in admin.

You would be correct (as usual).

It appears PhotoPost doesn't have a php.ini file included by default so I copied over one and made sure the upload file size matched by PhotoPost setting and like magic it now works.

Thanks again..
