Change Forum registration system

Hello,

I used Phpbb3 an switched now to VBulletin 3.8.

I want to use the registration System of vBulletin now.
What have I to change ?

In Admin-Panel I will change:

Forum Cookie Prefix to "bb". (same as in vB)
Your SMF Cookie Name to "bb". (seems not necessary, but would not cause Problems?)
Forum database table prefix is "vb3_".
Path to Forum is set correctly.

Now the Questions:

What to Input in Admin-Panel Forum Settings "User Registration System" ?

After this, what Databases must be scanned ?

Will this work so or have I to rerun Install.php ?

Thanks
Michael

Switching from phpbb to vbulletin

Phpbb3 Datas are imported via Impex and working fine in vB3.
Database-tabel pp_usergroups ist empty.
I will now rerun Photopost install_php.

Thanks for the always Fast Support Chuck.
Everything worked fine.

Userfix.php could be a little bit more comfortabel. After "preparing..." it stopped for the time of two Cigarettes, but seems to did his Job anyway.
Could not really check if the User IDs are imported correctly. How do I ?

User Intergration and Forum registration system works good as far as I tested it.
No bigger Bugs detected so long.

Best Regards
Michael

Michael

You can try matching up a user in the gallery to the forum and make sure the photos appear to match the forum user.
