Following problem after moving vbulletin and photopost to a new server I moved my vbulletin forums and photopost gallery to a new server. My photopost gallery is located outside my vbulletin. /pmforums /pictures Link to my gallery is: Main Index - Pakistani Bollywood Lollywood Bands Aritsts Photos - Pakmusic Coverage Of Events Around the World Now the problem is that when I try to upload a new picture, it does upload but it doesnt show me the image in gallery, and it also doesnt take me to the step where I can write its descryption. You can try to upload and see the problem by using the following account: username: photopost password: upload Just try to upload an image to your member gallery album and see what I mean. Thankyou. |

Is file uploads turned on in PHP? Basically I tried uploading a single small jpg file and the server dropped it. |
I have root access to the server. How do i turn file upload on in php? do i edit the php.ini? what do i look for |
OK I did it here is a screenshot: Code: Content visible to verified customers only. But still geting the same problem. |
I have never seen a panel where you can directly edit php settings feel free to place a phpinfo file in your gallery directory and a link here so I can see your actual settings. It is clear the file is not be allowed to be uploaded to the server as there is nothing to process. have you verified the server paths to your uploads and data directories have been updated to the new paths? |

Turn off the flash uploader and see if the normal upload process works. I know the flash uploader does not work with like mod security set on You can try to create an .htaccess file and stick SecFilterScanPOST Off in it. |
Works without flash up. I dont want to use .htaccess what is the other way of turning the mod sec off? which file do I edit as root in the server. |
That is an apache thing so thats in the apache configuration on how to turn that off. You might need to deal with your host on that. |
Allright, cheers. Thanks for the help. |
No problem glad to assist my friend |
