Editing the RSS Feed

I am editing our RSS feed and have some questions.

I want the RSS feed to only show the thumbnails. However, it appears that the RSS feed ties the thumbail and the description together. Because the code does not translate well to our newsletter sender (mailchimp) we need the description removed. How do we do this?

We want to limit how many images show on the RSS feed. How do we do this?

Why not remove this from the $desc line in external.php if all you want is a thumbnail

You would need to possibly alter your query in external.php. The default query in that file has a limit of 50 so set this to whatever limit you wish to impose.
