HTML visible in comments when using WYSIWYG editor

This is an integration with vB, photopost version 6.2, vB version 3.7.5. With this setting turned on:

Do you want to enable the vB3 Enhanced features which use vB3 controls in PhotoPost?

HTML shows up in my comments. My users are not entering HTML, they're simply using the WYSIWYG box and typing their comments in. Now, if I turn that setting above off, the HTML tags go away, but their signatures get wonky...like if they have graphics on multiple lines, the linebreaks don't work and their entire signature gets displayed on one long line.

Can you help? I'm happy to send you an admin login if you need it.

Thanks!

Oh, and I have checked the part of showphoto.php that you said to uncomment out in this thread:

BBCoce in Signatures not parsed (vB integration)

and it is NOT commented out. I reuploaded showphoto.php just to be sure it wasn't corrupted. Don't know what else to try.

Thanks!

we do not parse HTML in descriptions and comments really as thats a security risk

If you post a link for me to see a comment I can respond further. We process bbcode not html

I tried to explain that they are not entering HTML, they are simply entering their comment into the WYSIWYG editor as normal text, no HTML. Here's a link:

Infinito Enquanto Dure - Photo Gallery

She only typed in her response, it is adding the paragraph tags for her.

That is my response that says "testing<br>" but all I did was type "testing" and hit the submit button.

You want just a registered member login, not admin? Or do you want me to PM a test admin login?

The third one is set to off on the vB switches...do all three need to be on? Just to check, I did turn the last one on and it didn't seem to make any difference. I turned it back off, though, since it didn't help.

Okay, all three are on.

login:
user: photoposthelp
pass: photopost

Thanks!

Okay, after turning all three on, I left a test comment and it seems to be working right and not putting in the tags...but all the old ones still have the HTML tags. Can I get rid of them?

You can not change old comments without actually editing them. The only other way would be to alter code to display html but then thats a security risk.
