How to add Gallery link to navbar I apologize for my noobieness but I am very new to vBulletin as well as PhotoPost. I installed PhotoPost yesterday on my vBulletin 3.8.2 site and it looks pretty good. Is there anyway to add a Gallery link in the Navbar when in vBulletin and then when viewing the Gallery have a link to go back to the Forum located in the Navbar. This would be most helpful... Would of posted this in the support sections but it appears my newly created account does not have access to those areas at this time. |
PhotoPost Community - Announcements in Forum : Before You Buy The announcement at the top of the forums will help in being able to post As far as adding links you would need to add those say in your vb navbar template under the style section in vb admin where you edit templates maybe near the faq link add this Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
Thank You for the response but I need a dummies guide on how to do this. My main site is a Joomla site and I don't have to mess with code much at all. What I would expect is the installation of PhotoPost to add a Gallery link in the navbar of my existing vBulletin. Change from: FAQ - Community - Calendar - Today's Post - Search Change to: Gallery - FAQ - Community - Calendar - Today's Post - Search Once in the PhotoPost Gallery that link changes to Forum Forum - FAQ - Community - Calendar - Today's Post - Search I realize this may be easy to drop some php code in somewhere but unfortunately it's not that easy for me. Step by Step dummy instructions are most appreciated. |
Photopost does not alter your vbulletin navbar you need to add links as instructed above in my initial post. I thought the post above was pretty simple but try this 1. Go to your vbulletin admin. 2. Go to styles administration and view the style you wish and in that dropdown find edit templates. 3. Find the navbar template and click to edit it. 4. Find the faq link in vbulletin and post the two links I noted above with what I posted. You need to correct them with your correct information but I posted the general format for you to use. |
Thanks Chuck.. as soon as the site script runs and verifies my email address is a registered user, I'll give that a shot. I appreciate your patience. |
No problem glad to assist. |
