Current uploaded pictures in vBulletin, how to move over to PP?

I currently have a bunch of uploaded pictures in vBulletin, how can I move those over to PP?

Is there a way to move them all over or at least post them as that particular user somehow?

There is no way to upload them other than using the normal upload method as the pictures have to exist in photopost.

Oh, so there's no "importer" or bulk way to move the pictures?

There is no importer as we only have importers from competitive galleries.

As far as bulk upload it is possible if they are stored in the attachments directory of vb to use the bulk upload function in photopost on that directory but all files would be owned by you.

Gotcha Chuck.

But, if I'm the admin, I can add the pictures one by one as that user, right?

That is one by one yes. That is not however bulkupload which processes all photos. If you bulkuploaded you would need to go back and edit each one and reassign as a user. On bulkupload all uploads would be uploaded as whatever user you specify.

Wait, so I can actually do one member's photos as bulk and just put their user. So, I can do these as bulk uploads per user and not have to do it by picture. Is that correct?

I think you misunderstood some here. I said upload as user was used on a one by one basis.

The upload as photos option is limited to specifying one username. Therefore it is not compatible with doing a bulk upload since these photos your importing are from all users.

You only have two options bulkupload the attachments folder in vb which means you would own all photos and then go through and edit them one by one and reassign them to the proper user or download your attachments folder upload them one at a time in photopost and specify the proper username.

I think that might be the way to go. Upload the attachments folder in vB (is that where all the pictures are? Gotta check that out) and then go through each person and reassign the user to the appropriate one.

How would I know which picture is owned by which person? Lots of our pictures are Disney trip ones and scenic shots, so the owner might not be obvious. Just trying to plan this out a bit.

I guess you would need to go through each thread in vb and see who uploaded what or read the actual information in the attachments table in the database for userid etc and match things up.
