Question Understanding subscription: recurrent billing

Hi,

only to understand the capabilities of the subscription functions:

What happens after a subscription of (e.g.) 1 year. The user will be automatically transfered in a lower usergroup or is there any function for a recurrent billing? In this case will the admin and user get a message for paying for the new duration or nothing will happen?

Regards.

The user is demoted to his original usergroup once his subscription is over.

So he has to pay again to see some of his own pictures? His space would remain and he will not have the amount of traffic depending of the configuration?

Thanks Chuck.

He would pay again to gain permissions you applied to the subscriptions usergroup. Otherwise his permissions would be what you set for his original group

Don't mean to hijack, but would rather not start another thread. So, I would assume that I could use this mod Subscription Notifications -- Drive paid subscriptions & renewals - vBulletin.org Forum to help with the renewal. Then, we wouldn't have a lapse (or at least we'd have a way to help with the issues of members going back and forth in usergroups) due to our own issues, time constraints, etc.

What are the most common subscription settings that folks activate/use? Is it something like a thumbnail vs full size showing of pics? Limit of space to upload?

If you are integrated with vb you could use there subscription service not ours sure.

Usual subscription things would be more categories to view higher filesizes more diskspace maybe personal albums or assign albums to categories sure.

Are those things simple to set and adjust? I want to make sure that I know as much as possible before purchasing PhotoPost.
