Creating Subcatagories

Ive created a category then i create a subcategory1 and it lists all the subcategories within subcategory1 as well as subcategory1

This is what i want:

Category -
subcategory -
photos

This is what i get:

Category -
subcategory -
categories listed in the subcategory

Then when i click on the subcategory, it shows all the subcategories again.

Hope this all makes sense cause im lost now ... lol

You can set your cat depth in index options in admin to what you wish either 0 or 1

Ok i set my category depth to 0 and now i get this on my index page:

http://www.ewdiller.com/

any way to show the sub categories on my index page?

You can set it to 1 to show the next level deep.
