Question

Here's a link to my gallery: Main Index - My Photo Gallery
I really don't have a clue how to explain this.
Look at this gallery: Elemental Scraps - Main Index - Powered by PhotoPost
At the bottom there's "Category", and then subcategories under it, then they have "Challenge Gallery" and subcategories under that and so on.
How do I add another one to mine other than the "category" one?

I know this is really confusing because I haven't a clue what to call it.
Sorry.
I hope someone can help me though.
TIA!

You add categories under Admin => Edit Categories

If you wish to add a category that is a top level category hit ADD TOP LEVEL CATEGORY. When you create a category it has a spot for parent and it should be none. If you select another category then it will be a subcategory of whatever category you select.

Okay, I tried that and it didn't do what I wanted it to do.
I left it on there so that you can see what it did.

Okay it looks fine. I dont think its too clear what your trying to do here. You add a category as I showed and I see you added one. Your free to make it a top level category which it is right now or your free to assign it as a subcategory of another category.

How do I get it to have that brown on it like the other one that says "category"?
That's what I want it to look like.

If you want it to be a category that DOES NOT CONTAIN THUMBS you set that to no under admin edit cats for that options. Realize though you want to create subcategories under that category so users can upload to though.
