Lightbox again... Hi there, I know, this question comes often, as I already could read in the forum here. But all answers didn't bring me to where I want to be: To enable the LIGHTBOX  So, here my settings: Show Photo Options: Use popup window for BIG images? - Yes Use lightbox integration? - Yes Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 1500 Height to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 1500 Upload Photo Options: Max allowable image width in pixels - 950 Max allowable image height in pixels - 950 Trigger medium graphic height and width - 500 I also ran a Check DB with all the options enabled except watermark. Results: No Lightbox, only display the img in page. What is my mistake I did? Need help please. TIA and regards, adusei |
1 Attachment(s) So, now I again changed it to: Show Photo Options: Use popup window for BIG images? - Yes Use lightbox integration? - Yes Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 450 Height to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 450 Upload Photo Options: Max allowable image width in pixels - 980 Max allowable image height in pixels - 980 Trigger medium graphic height and width - 600 And at least I will get a PopUp window, fine. But where is the LIGHTBOX? I expected something like the lightbox we have in vBulletin... This all is very much confusing (and not only for me, as it seems). Hope to get the ultimate tipp ;-) Best, adusei |
Show Photo Options: Use popup window for BIG images? - Yes Use lightbox integration? - Yes Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 1000 Height to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? - 1000 Based on your settings that should work. Remember your only going to have a lightbox if there is a medium so any photo over 600 pixels will show lightbox Buffy - ReefTalk Gallery |
What version of Photopost are you using adusei? |
@ Chuck Thanks. But, unfortunately, this is not working either. I uploaded an image with the original size of 850x1275, and with the above metioned changes of yours I dont get any lightbox, neither a popup. What happens is, that the immage will load in the same window glued to the rigth side - very ugly... @ Geiri Hi - I downloaded 6.2. But now I had a look in the admin backend and there is the message: PhotoPost 6.2 Now Available! Security Update! Hu? Do I have 6.2 or not? ... Hope so, hehehe... Edit: Here's a link to check...http://www.thailand-finder.com/redsh...oto=15&cat=500 |
If your current version is 6.2 then you have the latest. Do you know your server specs? The image shows nicely but is 653 x 979 pixels wich should not be enoug to trigger lightbox wich I think you set to 980x980 Trie to upload a bigger photo. |

I cannot understand the logic in this system... I cannot upload an bigger image, because - as I understand - each will be triggered down to 980 according to my settings. CU, adusei |
So, and when I disable the lightbox - I am at least will get the popup. But the very moment the lb is enabled, I will get the same ugly result...:( |
Turn off your vb3 enhanced integration. Does the lightbox work? Your triggering the lightbox but your page has java issues hense lightbox is crashed. Yes I would suggest you also redownload the code and make sure your running the latest |

1 Attachment(s) Yup Chuck, it's been another java-code and I have to cut it off (but made such nice things, cry...:( ) Ok, the prob is fixed, and thx so much for your patience. Hm, one little thing left: Please see the attached img, this is my lightbox now, unfortunately there is no close-button to be seen (suppose to be on the right side bottom, correct?). Will confuse the users much. How can I fix it? TIA and best, adusei |
