Email Notifications not working

Hi! It must be my weekend for issues

The email notification for comments does not appear to be working. I thought it was just one customer, however I just tested it on my own images and I am not getting any email notification as well.

How do I troubleshoot this issue?

Have you checked your spam filter?

Do you get any errors printed on the page?

Does your server support php mail command?

You may need to ask your host about mail support.

Well, I receive email notifications of new images being posted. We just have never received comment notifications. I didn't really think about it because no one ever said anything before and I rarely post as I run the shop, etc and haven't been submitting images.

So, it is just the comment notifications that don't seem to work. I have checked my spam - but I get the image notifications, so I know you are not being stopped.

I have sent a note to my host to ask about this - I don't think he has it blocked. From the forum side we can email directly from within a post. I think it would be blocked everywhere if that were the case, not just the gallery.

If you get an email about a new photo being uploaded to your site your going to get one about a comment if you have admin notify on. Otherwise as far as users if they have elected to be notified they will get one about a comment on a photo or say subscribed to a category.

I have tested both functions and they do appear to work so maybe its a spam thing for your users.
