| Selling Prints Via PP
I have seen a few threads for people who have wanted this feature or something very similar, I am wondering, has it ever been done?
What I am after is in certain catagories the ability to purchase a print. The payment would be via paypal and when paymnt has been made an E-mail is sent to an address defined in the control panel. It is then up to the admin to forward on manually a set commision to the photo owner. Also it require a E-mail sent to the photo owner (PP user) to let them know that one of their prints has been sold.
As for the actual printing process it would be down to the admin to take the image to a local printer for printing.

No there is no photo printing in the script itself. We never found a compatible printer able to accomidate things.

Not sure what you mean the admin can sort a printer manually. Things are not as simple as an email. To add something like this to the program a printer would need to be sent all the necessary information and actual unedited photo which one most sites is gone since most all photos are edited and scanned down.

what I mean is so the admin is E-mailed everytime a print is sold, the Admin would then take a disc to his local print shop to have the image printed. Obviously any photos for printing the admin would have been sent the RAW photo previously.

I guess thats something you would have to add in although just to note there are no commercial aspects to the program at all.

well what I am saying is there is no such aspect in our program to sell anything other than a subscription to view.
You could theoretically add a paypal buy it now button and then paypal would take care of whatever you wanted emailing you what they bought. That should be a simply template edit to add the paypal button on showphoto and you would just use the proper variables like $title or $bigimage in the paypal code to pass the proper filename or title to you
