member gallery thumbnail

The homepage where the category list is etc is not displaying a thumbnail in the first column for member galleries ...

I figured this would update to display the latest uploaded photo but its not showing anything at all - is there something I need to turn on/off to get that to display correctly?

Thanks.

what version of the software are you using? You can tag a photo as an avatar. depending on your version it may or may not do as described.

I will do some testing and see what I come up with.

Mine also has the same problem and I am running 6.2. Are the thumbnails supposed to update for each of the galleries, as someone uploads a new photo? It would be cool if they did. They seem to static as they are 'assigned' to that position by admin.

Here is what it looks like on the homepage.

1. Can't figure how to assign new photo to Member Gallery Category.
2. Would like to have those thumbnails on the left update automatically when someone uploads a new photo for that category.

Thanks.

avatars do not update. They are tagged.

You can only tag a photo and it is permanent till you change it by viewing a photo and selecting it as the cat avatar.

Thanks.

But how do I change the Members Gallery area avatar? I apologize if this is off topic from the original posters question.

Nevermind. I got it. Thanks as always Chuck.

No problem. You upload a photo and tag it. I guess you found that.
