Broken "Home" link on Gallery Menu Bar

Web site is Into The Glue

When I click on the "Gallery Home" link in the Gallery Menu Bar (It was originally just "Home", I renamed it to avoid confusion with "Home" in the vB nav bar), instead of taking me to the Gallery Index page I get:
*********
Not Found
The requested URL /browselinks.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at Into The Glue Port 80

************
The "Gallery Home" link is pointing to "http://www.intotheglue.com/photopost/"

I'm assuming the problem may be that it should point to ..../photopost/index.php"

I've searched the forums and found that the link is controlled by either the "$menu" or "$menu2" variables in the menubar.tmpl template, but I've been unable to find where these variables are set. (Probably a newby mistake in my administration someplace!)

Would appreciate anyone's assistance.

Thanks,

Jim Smith

Thats a server issue. Usually servers setup in the configuration a default index page. You should be able to create an .htaccess file and place this within it and save and then upload to your website root or in photopost directory and it should help

Code:

.htaccess file

Chuck - thanks for the quick reply.

Adding the .htaccess file in the photopost directory did not solve the problem. However, your advice gave me some ideas about what to look for.

I tracked it down to a .htaccess file in the public_html folder that was over-riding the one in the photopost directory.

Got it fixed!

Thanks for your help.

Yes a webroot installed one would override anything else.
