Shrink categories
 
Hi,

A little help please.

For default the categories in my gallery appear expanded.How do I for this categories appear for defaul shrinked.

Do you have a link so I see what you mean? If your talking about the collapse cat bar they are always open as when you close them a cookie is created.

Ok, I understand now!We need close the categories every time,because for default they are open.

The only other way around that would be to get rid of that bar feature all together and change catdepth so only the parent cats show without clicking on the actual parent cat. So many options and ways to display things.

It's a good idea.Where I can make this changes.

Here you can see may problem whit a long list of categories.

In Admin => Edit Categories for this category

Categorias (Clique para ver ou esconder as categorias)

set contains thumbnails to YES

SAVE

Then go to Admin => Index Options

Set the option for catdepth to 0

SAVE

That should be it.
