Stop emails being sent from server...

Hi...

My host informs me that i have crashed their server with a mail overload, the source they say is a directory i have a photopost install, i know i have maybe too many subscription to gallery emails going out possibly, is there a cheap & cheerful way to stop all emails from PP while i square things away with my host?

I have used :

Admin Options
Use email to notify users?
Users can be notified of photo approvals and deletions. set to NO

would this also stop subscription emails being sent out?

If any1 could help me with a boil in the bag SQL command i could run to remove all my users subscriptions to galleries that would help, i didn't realize that so many members would actually use the 'subscribe to gallery' link, regardless if they visited my site or not every time a new upload was made many users would get an notification email, considering my host gave me a slap it would be nice to have more control over subscriptions emails, just incase...

DELETE FROM pp_notify;

That should clear all notifications both photo and category.
