If the flash uploader does not work you have the option to turn it off in upload options in admin.

We do not provide support for the flash uploader that is provided by the swfupload people who write that software.

Hello the normal php upload is limited to whatever your php max upload is set to which is normally 2mb so your media file must be under that.

If you wish to use the flash uploader you will need to uninstall flash 10 and install flash 9 on your computer.

Flash 10 will not be supported by the flash uploader till those developers write a compatible version.

If you have access to alter the php settings on the server sure. You would need to edit your php.ini file and raise that php_max_filesize variable and restart the server.
