How to add the image upload form to another site ?

Hi,

I have another website which runs under vBulletin. I would like to be able to uplaod pictures to specific category (this category has the right permissions for un-registered users to upload pictures) through the other site.

I've tried to do something like below :

But as you can guess, its not working

uploadphoto.php shows all the page. So i just need the upload form of my photopost script.

Is it possible to do that ?
If yes, how ?

I am not sure about your iframe statement but to go to the photopost upload page all you should need to do is direct someone there

I think he is talking more about a custom upload form that will allow uploads from one site to another. An external form, such as one based inside a custom pal or something, rather than redirecting to another upload form, just upload the files to the appropriate site..

I think I requested something like this in the mod forums.

It's kind of silly there isn't a simple code to add an upload function directly on the index page.. in the sidebar or wherever.. since this is what photopost is based on..

If you can't figure it out, I have a different solution I used to use...

The main purpose i purchased photopost is maybe different than other many photopost customers. I choosed photopost just because it seems more serious script/cms (or whatever we call it) to me even there are many other much cheaper and sımple scripts.

But frankly speaking, sometimes its very diffucult to solve the problems or customizing due to i do not have any information about php coding language. But anyway i try to do my best tol solve the problems myself.

I wish there was much simple upload option or index option just to upload images as on imageshack.us or imagebam.com websites.

I will appreciate it a lot if you give me an idea about your solution you used...

Well the problem is that an http upload prompt form must be done on the server that its on.

So if I am following all you can do is link someone to our upload page as they need to be on that site to upload to that site.

I hope that makes sense.

So then how do imageshack.us and many other websites do this ?

So you dont have to be on the site to upload pictures.

well test out your iframe prompt then. Remember an iframe is an element which actually loads the page in a frame. If you do that it should work but thats more than a simply upload box.

so what happens with your iframe?

Due to uploadphoto.php shows the complete page, the iframe just shows the 270x400px of the page. So its not working. But ofcourse it will work if i allow scrolling or make the width larger. But then it will not fit the style.

So i guess i should try to find a different solution to solve this problem.

Sorry to bump this thread but i still couldnt find a solution to this problem.

Please let me try to explain the problem again.

I have 2 websites which uses different domains and servers. The 1st one is dwgallery.net which is using the s/a photoplog pro and other one is dwshare.com which is running vbulletin 3.8.2.

In my photoplog website (the free image hosting website) guests can upload pictures.

What i would like to do is, on newthread template of dwshare.com (the site which is running the vbulletin) i would like to customize the template and would like to be able to upload pictures directly to dwgallery.net. (i can do the customization) And problem starts here. I don't know what code to use to upload pictures. iFrame didn't work for me due to uploadphoto.php and other templates using header and footer templates. And when i use the iFrame, it shows all the page. But what i need is just the input box of the upload form.

I will appreciate it a lot, if someone help me with doing that customization...
