Adding watermark
 

Hi I followed the instruction on adding a watermark to my gallery: I enabled the option, entered the full path to the watermark.png and it still not showing. am i missing something?

what type of watermarking you using on the fly or permanent and what processor are you using? Did you also if using permanent watermarking set permissions in admin edit categories for each category?

Hi - I'm using on the fly watermarking. I did the set up for the categories and i wonder if it will work only on the new uploaded pictures? i will try it now.

On the fly works for all photos regardless of category and requires GD2 and a png watermark.

Your path must be correct GD2 must be present and image valid. please post a phpinfo link so I can see your server path and GD version and a link to your watermark so I may make suggestions.

Sorry to butt in here guys I have a further question on this subject, is the watermarking an option that members can choose as they upload or when they sign up? or if I set it does it mark every image thats posted? I am asking as some of my members have expressed an interest in this facility and others do not want it.

watermarking is a global element set by the admin. users can not elect whether to watermark there picture.
