recent troubles with quotation marks

Since I upgraded to 6.2 we have severe troubles with quotation marks.
The HTML-code of the quotation marks isn't translated any more, concernig the entire gallery. The strange thing is, this happens only to the photo-description, not the comments.

Here an example:
Madonna der Apokalypse - SAGEN.at FOTOGALERIE

we see the &quot in the photo-description, in the comment I added we can read for example: beim "Spiess" in Gmunden (with correct quotation).

Any help would be highly welcome

In showphoto.php this code remove the // off the front of the lines
