No thumbnails-- no matter what

No matter what I have tried to this point, I can not get thumbnails. I've been using photopost for over a year with almost no issue and now I just can't get thumbnails to display.

I upload my photos.. and I get the default NO THUMBNAIL image.

I've tried GD2.. nothing. I've tried ImageMagick.. nothing.

I get nothing when rebuilding with GD2.

I get this when rebuilding with IM:

Error code:1
"/usr/bin/mogrify" -strip -resize "80x" -resize "x80<" -gravity center -crop 80x80+0+0 -quality 90 -unsharp 10

I have verified my paths to GD2 as well as IM. The config file says it finds my mogrify path correctly.

Also in months previous I had the option to manually edit the thumbnail of images.. I no longer have that option under the edit photo options and since upgrading from v6 to v6.2 I no longer have the option to edit photos at all...

Adding to this thread:

I completely removed my PP db and ran a fresh install... same exact issues.

Permissions on uploads folder: 777
Permissions on data folders: 777

The medium mini and thumbs directories under the data numeric directories also need to be 777 permissions

Feel free to send ftp information but from what I see this can not be the case.

I get unable to read format of file when trying to use GD2 which is a tell tale permissions error.
