Queue stuck for User

I have a User that has an image stuck in the queue. The file size is within all of my limits. I had her change the file name and try uploading again and it got stuck in the queue as well. I read this in another thread:

I do not mess around on the database unless I know exactly what I'm doing so please bear with me. I FTP to the database and go to Forum>Gallery>Uploads and in there I have about 50 files with numeric names such as 1, 1153, 1098, etc. Are these unsuccessful uploads? Do I just delete each of these files or am I not reading Chuck's fix correctly? I do not want to be deleting Gallery images!

Thanks!
Amy
