Unable to Move file?

please help if you can...
my gallery has been running smoothly from the time i installed till now but today this error popped up:

Unable to move file [/tmp/phpTR57T8] [/hsphere/local/home/madewithlove/DOMAINNAME/gallery/uploads/2/DVG80301TN.jpg]

my uploads folder is set to 777 and so are all the users' folders.

i've never encounted this error until now... any ideas??

if your absolutely sure your uploads and all its subfolders are all 777 check to make sure the uploads server path is correct in global options in admin and make sure that safe mode is off under phpinfo in admin.

it worked in the end.... they were all 777 but i went in and retyped it again and it worked after that. i suspect my web host did some tweaking on his side and caused this error.

but all seems good now.
