How do I put a custom banner on top of pages

I hope there is an easy way to put a gif file across the top of the PP pro site that has our company name in it to make this look more branded. Is this easy to do.

fyi, I am not a coder, but I can tell my guy who is to help if that is what we have to do. just point me to threads, etc. thanks.

Sure you can load any html file you wish to load as a header and footer by placing server paths to sure files you create in admin global options where noted. if those files are set to 666 permissions on the server you can even use the edit header and edit footer links in admin to edit the header footer and place html you wish or edit the html you have.
